It is with profound sadness that we report that the Haddonfield School of Performing Arts must close its doors effective December 31, 2007. Since its founding in 1981, the School has prided itself in being southern New Jersey's premier non-profit community music school, providing a comprehensive program of individual lessons, performing ensembles, and classes for all ages on all instruments and voice. Unfortunately, a loss of enrollment and other financial pressures have led the Board of Trustees, after difficult and thorough consideration, to the grim reality that the school can no longer provide the quality instruction to which we have been committed. And the decision has been made that we must conclude our business. We are grateful to Haddonfield and to our many loyal students and their families who have supported the HSPA community over the years, offering the gift of music to many hundreds of students.
Similarly, the Board extends its heartfelt "Thank You" of
appreciation to our
talented and dedicated faculty and staff for 26 years of
first-rate music
instruction. The loss of this gathering of artist
teachers/performers is a truly
significant loss.
